​The Rauha Retreat wasn't something we bought - it was something we built, piece by piece. Nestled in a quiet corner of Belmont North, we created this hideaway in the heart of Lake Macquarie to be more than just a destination; it is a labor of love.

​We spent countless weekends crafting the retreat's centerpiece - a traditional Finnish sauna, built by hand with a focus on precision and warmth. From the structural integrity of the timber framing to the final coat of obsidian oil, every element was finished by our own hands to ensure that when you step inside, you feel the care and intention woven into the space.

​By keeping our build local and hands-on, we were able to nestle the Rauha Retreat into the natural landscape, framing the gum trees and lush tropical foliage to create a truly private sanctuary. It is a hidden, high-end hideaway tucked away in the heart of Lake Macquarie - a place where you can disconnect, breathe, and find your own Rauha.
